Name one person who has had an impact on your life and explain why.

My fiancée, Safrianna is easily the most influential person in my life. She has been my biggest supporter, and an inspiration for the work I have done toward bettering my life.

How did you become interested in becoming a massage therapist?

After suffering from a broken back, I turned to holistic methods of pain control and rehabilitation. I have spent years using things like meditation, aromatherapy, yoga, and massage to keep me from being reliant on drugs. This journey lead me to want to help others do the same, and so I decided that studying massage would be a great first step in that direction.

What led you to choose Central Maryland School of Massage as your massage therapy school?

The location and hours were the most reasonable for my busy life as an average Monday-Friday 8-5 worker.

Name one thing you cannot live without.

My passion. Whether it before exploring new things, getting to know people, helping others, or having new experiences, I try to live life with as much intent and passion as I can.

Name one country you would love to visit.

New Zealand- Gorgeously green, with black sand beaches and an incredible culture.

Are you a dog or cat person? Or both or neither?

Cats, because they think for themselves.

State three adjectives that describe you:

Unique, compassionate, strong willed.

What is your go-to song when you need to get motivated?

Freyja- By Kindred Crow

What are your plans after graduating from massage therapy school?

My short-term goal is to open my own business in the next year or so that focuses on combining multiple healing disciplines, such as talk therapy, massage therapy, yoga, and energy work.

In the long-term, I hope to expand that from a small local thing into a widespread network of offices that can serve to be as much of an alternative as possible to western medicine. It will feature many different professionals, such as naturopaths, those who specialize in Chinese medicine, body workers, personal trainers, and more.
